Sandaig

Ritkán látni ilyet, süt a nap!!! Szóval fogtam magam meg a biciklim és eltekertem a közeli Sandaig-szigetekhez. Igen combos emelkedőn kellett átküzdenem magam, de legalább jó hosszú is volt. Majdnem 10 km után elértem egy erdészeti úthoz, azon még bő fél órát kellett menni, de megérte, gyönyörű homokos tengerpart fogadott:

Since sunny days are pretty rare here, I grabbed a bike and visited the Sandaig islands. The road goes up a pretty steep hill and it's really long, too, after almost 10 km I reached a forestry road and followed that for a good half an hour before reaching the islands.  As you can see it was worth it, there were beautiful sandy beaches:

Itt kicsit mérges voltam, hogy nem hoztam fürdőruhát, aztán amikor át kellett vágnom a folyón, akkor már nem sajnáltam annyira, eszméletlen hideg a víz.

I was a bit upset for not bringing my bikini, at least until I had to cross a stream when I changed my mind, the water is unbelievably cold.

A kisebb szigetekre csak a vízen keresztül lehet eljutni, mivel nem tudtam, hogy mikor van pontosan a dagály nem kockáztattam meg, legutóbb a házigazdáinknak úszva kellett visszajönniük...

The only way to go to the smaller islands is through the water, since I didn't know the exact time of the high tide I didn't risk crossing, our hosts had to swim back the last time they were over there.

És persze tengeri susnyával is tele van, ki tudja mi bújkál a levelek között. :D

It's also full of with seaweed, who knows what's hiding between the leaves. :D

A víz a sok eső miatt mindenhol barna, állítólag kimossa a tőzeget.

The water is brown everywhere, I was told that it's because the rain washes out the peat.

Képrejtvény! :D A látszat csal, ez nem delfin, ez egy disznódelfin!

Spot it! Looks are deceiving, it's not a dolphin but a porpoise. :)

Szemfüles olvasóink felfedezhetik, hogy ez a pár szikla az a pár szikla, ami pár képpel ezelőtt még kilátszott a vízből.

If you really look at it, you can see that these rocks are the same as the ones a few pictures back, the tide comes really fast around here.

Elég messziről lehetett hallani, hogy nagyon hideg a víz és nagyon sok a susnya. Szerencséjük volt, még pont átértek a dagály előtt.

I could hear it from far away that the water was very cold and it had a lot of seaweed. They were lucky and got over just before the tide.

Persze volt vízesés is nem messze, nem is egy, hihetetlen mennyi vizük van.

Of course there's always at least one waterfall, I just can't believe how much water they have.
